Becoming a Member
Club Membership
Soroptimist membership provides an enriching environment for women to develop friendships and to support each other, while experiencing the satisfaction of their collective efforts to improve communities. Soroptimist women, who represent leaders across all professional disciplines, also serve as a role model for younger women at the beginning of their careers.
Membership is open to professional working women or women who have retired from a profession or business. Women who are interested in joining SI Carson City will be invited to attend some Club meetings to learn more about our programs and activities. New members will be matched with an existing Club member as her Club Mentor. The Mentor will provide guidance and support. New members will need to attend a Club Orientation. Members pay annual dues, which are payable at the time they join the Club. Dues will be prorated based on the time of year the new member joins. Regular attendance at Club meetings and participation in Club committees is strongly encouraged.

Join Our Volunteer Team
SI Carson City always welcomes individuals who would like to volunteer at our events, on special projects or program activities. You do not need to be a Club Member to volunteer. If you would like to be on our Volunteer Team and be contacted for special events and projects, please visit our Contact Us page. You can send an email letting us know about your volunteer interests. We will add you to our Volunteer Team and contact you when opportunities are available. If your schedule permits, we would very much appreciate your help at our special event or program activity.
